The Riverton Museum is hosting CJ Vandermeulen from 1838 Rendezvous for this Bailey Tire/Pit Stop Children's Exploration Series program on May 11th from 11am-12pm.
CJ has helped set up multiple, highly authentic Rendezvous events, including one in our own Riverton Museum! Come learn about the historical Riverton Rendezvous and the hardships of the trappers, and see their authentic equipment. CJ will also be bringing furs and hides, as well as other historical props, for kids to look at and touch.
The Pioneer Museum will host this Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek on May 11th at 10am. Participants will meet at the cemetery gates at 10 a.m. then take about a mile walk total through the cemetery to learn about some of the notable Lander pioneers buried there.
The Pioneer Museum is excited to participate in Bailey's Tire and Auto Children's Exploration Series by inviting preschool and prekindergarten children to participate in a music class designed just for these little ones!
