The Riverton Museum is hosting Lea Cavalli Schoenewald for this Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speaker Series on August 20th from 6-7pm.
Schoenewald is a retired teacher who recently published her book “Lost Coal District of Gebo, Crosby, and Kirby.” Schoenewald will be telling the story of coal camps in Hot Springs and Fremont County, particularly looking at the life of miners and their families. She will delve into the local and family history of Gebo and Hudson by sharing her own experiences of Gebo as a child.
