“Home Built Classic Toys”

The Riverton Museum presents a Bailey Tire/Pit Stop Children's Exploration Series program on December 11th at 2pm. 

Get ready for the holidays and make your own classic toy with the staff of the museum.  We provide all the materials! You just need to bring your creativity.

This hands on children's activity focuses on creating home built classic toys that kids can take home.

We will have kits available ranging in cost from $2.00-$10.00. Kits will be available for purchase and assembly while supplies last until Christmas.

“Christmas Open House”

The Riverton Museum will host their annual Open House and Free Museum Day on December 11th from 10am-4pm.

Come by and enjoy the museum with some hot coco and Christmas snacks, as well as, discounts in the museum gift store.

“Haunted Downtown Walking Trek”

If you didn’t get enough Riverton ghost stories at the Discovery Speaker Series event, make sure to sign up for this Haunted Downtown Walking Trek! In this Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek, local educator and collector of ghost stories, Alma Law will guide us around downtown Riverton and show us where some of his favorite ghost stories occurred. After the walk, we’ll return to the museum and enjoy cookies and hot cocoa!

“Pumpkin Trail”

Join the Riverton Museum for its second annual Pumpkin Trail on Saturday, October 16th from 5-8pm. Tour around the museum and enjoy the many carved pumpkins donated from businesses in Riverton. The museum will begin lighting the pumpkins at 5:00pm and the event will conclude at 8:00pm.  Take the opportunity to vote for your favorites!
