Join the Riverton Museum for its second annual Pumpkin Trail on Saturday, October 16th from 5-8pm. Tour around the museum and enjoy the many carved pumpkins donated from businesses in Riverton. The museum will begin lighting the pumpkins at 5:00pm and the event will conclude at 8:00pm. Take the opportunity to vote for your favorites!
Join the Riverton Museum for one of our most popular annual talks! In this Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speaker Series event, local educator and collector of ghost stories, Alma Law, presents some of the most eerie, interesting, and entertaining stories and urban legends from Riverton and the surrounding areas! Alma has been collecting ghost stories for years, and, together with his Sophomore Honor’s English Class, published a book of these stories in 2017.
Come and learn from the interim executive director for the Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation, Aura Sunada Newlin, about what life was like for Japanese Americans at the Heart Mountain Incarceration Camp in Wyoming during World War II.
