Did someone say dinosaurs? If you enjoy bones and rock, join us on Sunday, June 29th, at 2:00 at the Dubois Museum. The paleontological team led by Dr. David Lovelace of the University of Wisconsin Madison Geology Museum will present their scientific findings. These include North America’s oldest dinosaur “Ahvaytum bahndooiveche” named in the Shoshone language found near Dubois.
The Riverton Museum is hosting an exciting program of hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math fun for this Bailey Tire/Pit Stop Children Exploration Series event on June 28th from 2-4pm.
Join us at the museum to leave for the Ramshorn Ranch located in the DuNoir Valley west of Dubois. This ranch has some of the most beautiful views as well as a rich history. The ranch has been owned by the Prine Family for several generations, and Craig Prine will tour us around the buildings as well as some tie hack ruins in the nearby woods.
