Front Desk/Gift Store Attendant

Under the supervision of the site, staff greet and engage visitors. Answer questions (phone and in person), manage gift store merchandise and maintain a neat and orderly museum store. Make sales through QuickBooks. Assist customers with their purchases. Provide general information and track visitors.


  • Will need to have a basic understanding of ADA needs.
  • ¬†Including but not limited to information on upcoming events and programs, places to eat and stay, etc.
  • Will need a good understanding of everything offered in the bookstore/gift shop and will need to be able to make suggestions to anyone who comes in looking to purchase books or other items.
  • Training includes POS system and customer service and care.
