“National Bighorn Sheep with the Riverton Museum”

The National Bighorn Sheep Center is coming down to Riverton to educate on disease prevention among sheep. We have fun, educational games prepared on the topic, and an activity where kids can pretend to perform tests on sheep. We will also be joined by the Riverton Dutch Oven Club who will be demonstrating the wide variety of dishes that can be prepared in Dutch ovens!

The Wind River Visitor’s Center Adventure Trek Series and Pioneer Museum will join Barbara Townsend on a tour of the Atlantic City Cemetery.

Life in the Coal Camps

This Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speaker Series Program will host David Gutierrez and his “Life in the Coal Camps” talk on June 12 at 6:30pm at the Pioneer Museum in Lander.

David will speak on his experiences growing up in the coal mine camps of Reliance, Wyoming, right outside of Rock Springs.
