Little Scotland-Recollections and History

Join us at the Dubois Museum for the program featuring local artist and rancher John Finley as he talks about the history of his family.  The Finleys were some of the original settlers of the “Little Scotland” area in the East Fork, and John is the expert historian to tell how his ancestors came to this country and became such an integral part of Dubois.  Join him in the Dennison Lodge to learn more about this part of our history.

Kids’s Corner: Nature’s Hide-and-Seet

Visit the Dubois Museum in Dubois for this Bailey's Tire and Pit Stop/Travel Center Children's Exploration Series program. Microbiologist and educator Karen Sullivan will present “Nature’s Hide-and-Seek:  How color makes it easier to survive.” The program and activity will encourage children to discover the fascinating role that color plays in helping animals survive in the wild.
