Pioneer Museum in Lander is Looking Some Assistance.

The Pioneer Museum is seeking some assistance with a long term collections management project.

The project requires a dedicated volunteer 3 to 5 hours a week who would like to work with the Collections Manager on long-term projects such as building soft housing mounts and inventory of our textile collection.  Hand and machine sewing skills needed.   Volunteer hours need to be done in single weekly session and need to be on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday.  Please contact Robin Allison, Collections Manager 307-332-3373 if you’re interested.

In addition, the Pioneer Museum is seeking a donation of a working sewing machine, yardage of unbleached muslin and flat or sheet batting material to be used by the museum’s collection department.   Also contact Robin Allison, Collections Manager 307-332-3373 if you can spare any of these materials.

The Pioneer Museum is a worthy place to make a valuable contribution of time and resources that really benefit the Museum at well as the local community and visiting public.
