“Paper Quilting for Kids” August 15 1pm  Join Pioneer Museum staff for this Bailey Tire/Pit Stop Children’s Exploration program on paper quilting on August 15th at 7pm. Quilting has historically been an important creative experience for residents of Lander. Learn all about the history of Lander while making a group paper quilt, that will be displayed in the Pioneer Museum. $4.00 per person, registration required by calling the Pioneer Museum at 307-332-3339.

“Historic Ed Young Apple Farm Adventure Trek” August 29 1pm  This Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek explores one of the largest and oldest orchards in the valley.  Ed Young got Lander designated as the “Apple City” and is one of the true pioneers in the Lander Valley.
