For the second year in a row, the Easter Bunny us running loose and hiding eggs all over the museum. It’s a great time to get out of the house to see what’s new at your local museum. Bring the kids to look for and take home up to ten prize-filled Easter eggs per person!

“Wyoming Outlaws with Ray Maple” April 9 7pm  The Pioneer Museum in Lander will host this Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series program. This program features Ray Maple, Historian and re-enactor.  Ray tells the tales of Butch Cassidy and other Wyoming bad men in this informative and entertaining look at part of Wyoming’s infamous history. Join Ray at the Pioneer Museum in Lander, WY on April 9th at 7pm This program is free and open to the public.

“Sheep Shearing Day” April 18 1-3pm  Visit the Pioneer Museum in Lander on April 18th from 1-3pm for this Bailey Tire/Pit Stop Children’s Exploration Series program. Sheep Shearing Day is all about Sheep Sheep Sheep! Explore the history of the Sheep industry in Wind River Country.  Witness actual Sheep Shearing, pet sheep, make crafts from sheep’s wool, buy products made from sheep’s wool, and lots more. This program is free and open to the public.
