“Sho Rap firefighters” August 13 7pm  The Pioneer Museum in Lander will host Robin Whiteplume for a Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series program August 13th at 7pm. Ms. Whiteplume is a wildland firefighter and author.  She will talk about the long history of Native American firefighters in Wyoming and the western U.S. This program will be held in the Western Heritage room at the Pioneer Museum and is free to the public.

“Lander Historic Walking Tour” August 15 10 am  The Pioneer Museum in Lander is hosting a Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek August 15th at 10am. The Adventure Trek will take a look at some of the historic lander buildings and building sites that helped shape the community.
