“Jackie Klancher: Glaciers in the Wind Rivers March 19 7pm

The Dubois Museum will host Jackie Klancher, Professor of Environmental Health at Central Wyoming College’s Alpine Science Institute on March 19th at 7pm for this Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series program.

Klancher will begin with a short presentation on her research on the retreat of the Wind River glaciers.  Kyle Nicholoff, Senior Producer from Wyoming PBS, will join the discussion and show the award winning documentary film “Glaciers of the Winds” and discuss the loss of alpine glacial ice in Wyoming and the implications this ice loss has on the human and ecological communities downstream.

This program is free and open to the public.
