“History of Radio and Broadcasting in Fremont County” by Ernie Over March 12, 6:30

The Riverton Museum will host Ernie Over for this interesting Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series program on March 12th at 6:30pm.

This winter and spring 2020, the Riverton Museum’s basement gallery is getting a fresh coat of paint in preparation for some new frequently rotating exhibits. Our first new exhibit in this space will showcase the broadcasting console used at KVOW,  Riverton’s first radio station, and will be about the history of radio and broadcasting in Fremont County.

Joining us to open this new exhibit is Ernie Over. Ernie has spent his career in local news, in broadcast, print, and electronic media. He will be talking about the history and growth of radio broadcasting in Riverton and Lander.

This event starts at 6:30 PM and is free and open to the public.
