“From Soldiers to Rangers: The Unique Assignment in Yellowstone National Park: by Brandon Lewis July 17 12pm

The U.S. Army played a significant role in the formation and protection of Yellowstone National Park before the National Park Service took over in 1918.  Such a “unique assignment” allowed soldiers to protect, preserve, and act as hosts to one of America’s most well-known parks.  Come listen to the tales of the lives of soldiers stationed in Yellowstone and how they helped make the Park what it is today.

This program is part of the Dubois Museum Day Celebration.
