Join the Dubois Museum staff on September 28th at 10:30am for “Kids Corner: DIY Bookmark.” This program is part of the Bailey Tire & Pit Stop Children’s Exploration Series. As the seasons start to change it is a perfect opportunity for us to preserve some of that fall beauty and make a tool we can take into winter. Join us in making some pressed-leaf bookmarks and discussing the flora that occupies Wyoming.

This Kids Corner looks at the wide variety of wildflowers that Wyoming has to offer. We will discuss how Wyoming settled on its state flower and children will be given some seeds to bring home so they can see those flowers in the Spring. Advanced Registration is required.

The “Dennison Ranch Driving Trek” is hosted by the Dubois Museum as part of the Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek Series on August 13th beginning at 8:30am. Join museum staff as we explore the life of Richard V. Dennison and learn about the local legend.

“Tie Hack Adventure Trek”

The Dubois Museum’s “Annual Tie Hack Trek” will be hosted on August 6th at 8:30am as part of the Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek Series: This year we will follow the tie hacks Union Pass to see where the tie hacks lived, flumes that brought the ties down, and a headgate.
