“Trek to the Tie Treating Plant” June 1, 9am Join the Riverton Museum staff for a Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek to the historic site of the Tie Treating Plant on June 1st at 9am.  The trek will walk along the old railroad tracks down to the location where the rail ties were treated before being shipped out. Pre-registration is required by calling the Riverton Museum at 307-856-2665.  Bring water and good walking shoes.

“Shoshoni Cemetery Trek” June 29 9-Noon The Riverton Museum will host a fun Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek to the Shoshoni, WY Cemetery June 29th from 9-noon to discover some of the local legends from Shoshoni, Riverton and Fremont County. The trek will leave the Riverton Museum at TBA and the fee is $8.00 per person.  Reservations required.
