Alma Law present this spooky Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series program. Alma Law is a teacher at Riverton’s high school and has spent years gathering spooky myths from around Riverton and Fremont County. In 2017 he and his English Honor Students wrote the book titled “Fremont Haunts” which he will be reading from for a portion of this program. This program is free and open to the public.

Haunted Downtown Walking Tour

This fun tour is part of the Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek Series and just in time for Halloween as the Riverton Museum Staff shares some of the haunted myths and legends that surround some of the historical Riverton structures. The trek is $6.00 per person and registration is required by calling the Riverton Museum at 307-856-2665.

"Walking on Ice: Snowfield, Ice fields, Continental Ice Sheets, and the peopling of North America " Nov 3rd 3pm Learn from Marcel Kornfeld, a Archaeology Professor at the University of Wyoming in this Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series program. Marcel will be talking about the First Americans to travel the Pleistocene glaciation. This program is free and open to the public and is presented at the Riverton Museum.
