LM “Tales of Wyoming Outlaws” July 12 7pm  This is a Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series program by Wild Bunch outlaws Tom O'Day and Bronco Nell. A program by historic re-enactors about the outlaw Tom O'Day, who spent time in Fremont County on the wrong side of the law. Join Bob Townsend on this great Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek through istoric Atlantic City, WY for its 150th anniversary. One of the most famous and interesting towns in Wyoming, this trek will be a real treat for anyone interested in early Wyoming History. American Solar Challenge

The Pioneer Museum will host the racers and their solar powered cars crossing the country along the route of the Oregon Trail. Come to watch the racers arrive and take off, see the unique cars, vote for your favorite. This program is free and open to the public.

“Digging Up Dubois” July 26, 7pm The Pioneer Museum will host Dr. Dave Lovelace PhD. From the University of Wisconson-Madison Geology Museum on July 26th at 7pm.  Dr. Lovelace will talk about two recent discoveries in Late Triassic rocks (~230 million years ago) near Dubois. Ancient amphibians living in ponds and streams experienced extreme droughts that led to their demise and burial.  These sites are shedding light on this amazing deep-time ecosystem.
